most of the pics ive seen are with white furniture which looks great but dont want to change furniture…..and partner works nights so black curtains would be ideal
Any color will really go with light oak colors. They make blackout lining that goes behind drapery fabric to block out the light. It’s perfect for the partner. As far as the black goes.. I’ve had a black bedding set. if it is cotton it will attract all types of lent, dust, etc.. plus blacks are hard to match if you are wanting to do an all black bedding set. I’d go for something more silky if you are set on the color black. Even so, through in another color to set off the black.. turquoise and black are good together right now, blues, greens, reds, oranges, really anything will do but just the black will be boring and dull. It will need more color to brighten the room back. Ex: Black bedding but with blue pillowcases, blue accessories, etc References :
I have just done a similar thing with my bedroom and it looks great.
I got the bedding and matching curtains from Freemans.com. It is called Bedeck Zen. It is black with a gold pattern.
Hope this helps. References :
