In my business, I hired several contract workers to assist me in growing and building our customer base. I like contractors because they are not employees but they work just as hard if not harder than real employees. This one particular case involved my most productive contractor. After a month of dedicated service, I asked her to provide me with her biweekly time sheet. After much delay she finally called me the other day and said that I did not owe her anything for the month. Shocked, I asked why and was not really given an answer. I can only assume that she was not as productive for the month as I thought she had been.
