A lot of people are interested in a new career and see massage therapy as a great possibility but then fail to follow it through because they don’t want to spend out on the course fees and give up their time and then find it is something they don’t like. Well, have you considered a taster course to see if it is for you? e.g. Swedish massage, Indian head massage, aromatherapy massage courses etc. They are very easy and straight forward and you usually learn the origins and philosophy of your chosen technique and the basic massage techniques. The trial massage course is usually put on in the evenings or over a few weeks but you should have a feel of whether it is a possible career for you at the end without a great deal of inconvenience. You aren’t certified at the finish of the trial as the courses are not in depth enough and you would need to enrol on the full time course first.
