For teen girls:What kind of trendy clothes & accessories do you wear?

Posted by admin on February 6th, 2010 and filed under trendy accessories | 16 Comments »

i wear skirts mostly with stylish belts and loose kurtas on top with a stylish stole.long stoned necklaces with thick bracelets and sandals….
tell me about new fashion ideas and your style…

I definitely love to go retro. I wear ties as belts and when it’s something more formal I put on a bow-tie and make it more feminine with cute shorts. I love to wear only black and white some days because it looks so elegant and fashionable and I can’t go a day without wearing the perfect pair of flats. I combine preppy and retro attire with modern accessories to create a one-of-a-kind look. As for accessories, I love ties, bow ties, long necklaces, my coach charm bracelet and small earrings. I love to wear boyish things and top it off with feminine accessories because it’s very flirty and I can express myself.

Where can I find trendy and cheap online clothing?

Posted by admin on December 1st, 2009 and filed under trendy accessories | 7 Comments »

I am looking for trendy and cheap online clothing that is for juniors and misses. Preferably sites that offer a size chart and have more than size small. Shoe and accessories sites are welcome as well. I would also like to be able to purchase off season items as well.

Why not try amazon.com or ebay.com?
I think that you can find many great deals of clothing from Amazon.com. If you are too lazy, can try amazon discount finder ( http://www.tophotdeal.com ), which already collects all kinds of discount clothing for you.

What to wear for a trendy retail job interview?

Posted by admin on November 29th, 2009 and filed under trendy accessories | 4 Comments »

I have an interview for a popular trendy clothing store in my area. When I talked to the manager on the phone she told me to "dress to impress" and "wear lots of accessories" for the interview. Usually I would play it safe and wear a black suit, but I want to honor her requests, so Im not sure what to wear! Help!

This is the site I look at when I need some inspiration :)

Whatever you wear, make sure you feel comfortable in it. If you get the job, the manager will expect you to generally dress like that.

Good luck

So, looking for trendy purses for back-to-school?

Posted by admin on November 7th, 2009 and filed under trendy accessories | 2 Comments »

I’m going to be a freshman this fall, and we wear uniforms, so I depend on accessories to look fashionable. I’ve already got a reputation as kind of a trendsetter, but I tend to drop them as soon as others pick up on them.
I’m not really looking for Coach, LV type brands.
I really like Kathy Van Zeeland, but now everyone at my school owns one? Same with XOXO. Is there another brand maybe at the same price range or lower, that also has great bags?

if you go to marshalls, tjmaxx or ajwright, they have a lot of nice purses there for cheap. you can end up getting a cute dooney & burke one for like $30

i need to know how to get to JFK to upper manhattan thats where the hotel is?is the subway the best option?or a cab?is it ok to get to A to B by subway Because i plan to go times square, statute of liberty, empire state, broadway etc. and where is the best place for bargain shopping for clothes and trendy accessories?? thanks alot x

My friend, the best thing to do this take the subway, its cheaper than a taxi and a lot faster than a taxi. Now, I don’t know what park of Manhattan you’re going, because you did not specified the hotel you staying in, that way I would have help you a lot better. Just e-mail me by clicking on the avatar and the e-mail icon and I be glad to help with directions.

Next, shopping. For the best bargains, my best bet will be Chinatown, home to the famous knock off (aka fakes). You can everything down there, everything from handbags to watch at bargain basement prices. If preferred for something of higher quality, here is a list of store you can look into.

Shopping

-Macy’s (West 34th Street and Broadway in the heart of Hearld Square)
-Bloomingdale’s (Lexington Avenue at East 59 and East 60 Streets)
-The shops along Fifth Avenue (just don’t max out you credit cards)
-FAO Schwarz
-Toys "R" Us in Times Square
-Lord and Taylor (5th Avenue at East 38th Street)
-Chinatown/Canal Street Area (if you want to go on the cheap for the stuff you can’t get on Fifth Avenue)
-NBA Store (for the basketball fan – 5th Avenue at East 52nd Street)
-The Apple Computer Store (East 59th Street and Fifth Avenue)
-The Time Warner Center (West 59th Street – Columbus Circle)
-Hershey Store (for those with a sweet tooth)
-Grand Central Terminal (for the shopping)
-H&M
-Century 21 Department Store (Church and Cortlandt Street)
-forever 21

I hope this information was very helpful. Good luck and happy travel.
