I’m thinking of purchasing Projector Headlights for my 2003 corolla, but I’ve read in a few reviews that they concentrate the light too much and the light is poorly spread. Does anybody have any experience with projector headlights that could share they’re opinion of them with me? Also I’ll probably purchase the HID projector headlights for greater brightness.. here’s a link to them

its true they don’t aim properly. i remember i was at an intersection with a red light. the person on the opposite side was in a toyota camry with HID lights. man my eyes were dazzled for like 30 seconds after the light turned green because the light was right in my face.
plus if you ask me installing HID’s and projectors on a family sedan. i’ve even seen them on sienna’s which i think is pretty dumb.
but its not true that they don’t last as long as regular halogen lights. HID lights actually last longer and use less energy, but the bulbs are more expensive. and as i said, they don’t aim properly on aftermarket applications. They’re also illegal as an aftermarket add on, HIDs are only legal when they come stock on the vehicle because the lenses are actually built to handle HID lights

think about this
people driving the opposite direction from you will be really uncomfortable
and also
it doesn’t last as long compare to the normal headlight
hope it would help

the problem with a lot of after market projectors is quality. you will want to spend more for a better brand that is well built. you also want lights that you can aim. thats the common problem with people who put HIDs in their car. they never aim the lights down so they are not blinding on coming traffic. i have HID’s in my car but the car came with OEM projectors so i was able to aim the light down.

Projector Headlights dont scatter light around, thats why you see mostly every luxury car maker have them on and i dont know how it goes with after maker’s because they might not be made from the same material or not made properly so they have scattered light
