for 2002 bmw 318i executive sedan

They tell you it is NOT a chip. It is a resistor. They are 5 for $1.00 at Radio Shack. They tell you to put it in your computer wiring and mess up your computer readings so it dumps more gas.

This is not a good idea. Don’t give that idiot your money or mess up your car.

from experience on anything electronic on ebay, its all cheap or imitation, well the majority of times….you can always file a paypal claim if you pay that way, but they take a percentage off that so you very rarely get your full amount back, and my worst experiences are from sellers on the coasts where that crap runs rampant….

If it’s telling your ECU that the air is cold, it may cause the choke to come on, using more fuel, and gumming up the plugs.

For $6, it would be cheap enough to try for the fun of it, as long as it doesn’t cause any damage.
