maybe you should find a scent to coordinate with the setting. Like a musky vanilla scent or something along those lines that kind of matches the colors. I don’t know if that makes sense to you, but like "if your bathroom was purple, i think the scent would be lavender" kind of thing. Buy soaps, lotions and candles with that same scent and color. I would skip the dark brown unless it’s some sort of hard wood accessory.

Sounds very nice, but please loose the toilet seat cover. Try getting a cover that’s already black or if you go to Home Depot they have paints you can use (even for plastic). Also try using a black shower curtain and beige lace cover. You may think this might make your bathroom a bit too dark, but in fact it will even out the look by making the beige your accent color, and using the black a back drop it will accentuate the beige even more. Hope this helps, I’m sure it will look great as long as it’s what makes you happy.

you could try tile paint. I painted the splashback in my kitchen 3 years ago and it always gets good comments, and its cheap.
Also you could replace the vanity counter with a peice of chocolate coloured marble, it wouldnt cost as much as a full remodeling job, and you could find an offcut peice on the cheap too. It sounds nice, kind of what my dream bathroom would be based apon too.

Well to each his/her own! I have been hassled for using deep purple accenting against deep and light blue. Then I had some art and design people praise my work, Go figure!
Now for your work. I have seen black and white, black and orange (the school colors for our towns’ school, the tigers), black and blue, etc… I think black and beige will work, I’m not keen on brown though. I am from the school that says brown shoes, brown belt and never with black trousers. Consider using white towels or other colors. Also use white and bright colored knickknacks. Don’t forget bright bold flowers as well! An idea to consider is using 1/4er round trim stock color it white or deep purple or blue; place it in the area were the floor meets the wall and the wall meets the ceiling. If you use a pneumatic finish nailer it will be easy up and down. I did this with deep blue, the same color as the kitchen trim.-You get to the bathroom via the kitchen.- (our bath was white, with light blue floor). If you don’t like it will be easy to redo, so good luck, and have fun!

Fine, but try finding a rug with all three of your colors, not all black. This will add more class and black rugs don’t look good after awhile. How about painting your walls? If you do light beige with a brown accent wall.

I am not sure where the lace comes in.
Have you been to Pier One or any of the World Import Stores?
You can find a lot of the items listed below at a Wallmart.
I would create an Asian spa theme. Maybe add some bamboo or raffia accents. Add those small green twisted bamboo plants in a black ceramic planter for the vanity. (Some Dollar Stores and Grocery stores sell them.) Consider painting the ceiling a darker brown.
If you are not allowed to paint the ceiling, buy a piece of tan muslin and tightly stapple it to each end of the bathroom ceiling to create a soft tent effect.
Add tall brown candles with natural raffia ribbons tied around the middle and place them in shallow black ceramic dishes with some grey or tan pebbles.
If your cabinets have panel frames on the wood doors, you could cut bamboo placemats to fit inside the frames and use double stick tape to adhere them.
You could buy an inexpensive roll up woven grass beach matt with black edging (they are usually 30" x 60") and use it as an area rug.
You could get inexpensive strings of mini sea shells and tie them around the middle of the towels or make shower hooks out of them.
